Curtis Leon Lundy is an accomplished bassist of the younger generation of artists who are carrying on the jazz tradition. A disciplined technician from Miami, Florida, Mr. Lundy began his musical career in the All Miami Youth Jazz Band. At the University of Miami, he was classically trained under the tutelage of renowned bassist Dr. Lucas Drew. He has also studied privately with Cecil. McBee, Linda McKnight, Rufus Reid, Jaco Pastoriu and Ron Carter.
