The illusions are a seven-piece jazz-funk collective born in Ibiza, blending Balearic soul with modern jazz, funk, and Afrobeat influences.
Formed by trumpeter and musical director Pere Navarro, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Antonio Blakstad, and cultural producer/manager Harry Charles.
The band represents a new wave of Balearic creativity. Their sound fuses deep grooves, improvisation, and soulful melodies, echoing the island’s spirit of freedom and community while carrying the weight and discipline of serious musicianship.
The illusions have already built a reputation for high-energy live shows that blur the lines between concert, jam session, and dancefloor ritual.
